We also had a prestigious panel of judges on hand—all from leading publications and organizations in the parenting world—to select this year’s Best in Show Awards. As you’ll see for yourself below, the five winners and 16 honorable mentions are notable for their variety and excellence.Best in Show: BabyNes Infant Nutrition System

BabyNes is a smart nutrition system that brings a range of six single-serve formula capsules for infants and toddlers during the first years of life. Keeping the nutrition of breastmilk in mind, as well as ease-of-use for parents, BabyNes’ concept is easy to use, easy to keep clean and hygienic, and revolutionary in terms of the nutritional benefits it offers. “With the touch of a button, the BabyNes perfectly prepares a bottle in one minute—every time,” one judge says. “While expensive, it’s hard to put a price on this kind of convenience.”

Best in Show: Driver’s Little Helper Car Seat Monitor
Driver’s Little Helper is a car seat monitor that works with any car seat and syncs with your smartphone to provide key alerts about the comfort and safety of your child. By alerting parents when children escape their seats, when they get too hot or too cold, and more, Driver’s Little Helper ensures that parents can drive their little ones with confidence and comfort. “I love this product because it will save lives,” one judge says. “This device makes all car seats ‘Smart,’ reminding parents and caregivers via app alerts if their baby is overheating in a vehicle.”

Best in Show: GB Pockit Stroller
Just released this past spring, and holding the distinction of “world’s smallest folded stroller” in the Guinness Book of World Records, the Pockit folds down to the size of a handbag, fits under an airplane seat, offers two ways to fold (everyday and ultra-compact), and self-stands when folded. “Parents have enough things to carry when they travel and I love that this product addresses that problem,” one judge says. The Pockit weighs in at just 9.5 lbs and is suitable for babies from 6 months to 55 lbs. The Pockit also features a sunshade, a height-adjustable 5-point harness, removable and washable seat fabric, and a storage basket that holds up to 11 lbs.

Best in Show: Project Nursery Baby MonitorProject Nursery is the ultimate family design resource—their mission is to inspire kid- and baby-friendly design in all spaces of the home—and their new Baby Monitor is right in line with this mission. With the world’s first mini video and audio monitor, a 5-inch fully HD parent unit, and a great looking camera that can pan, tilt, and zoom, Project Nursery’s brand new baby monitor is safe, secure, stylish, and easy to use. “It’s been a long time since the baby monitor category was shaken up, but Project Nursery is doing that this year,” one judge notes. “Their monitor not only pans, tilts, and zooms, but it comes with 1.5″ mini monitor that can be connected to a watch band and worn around the house, so there’s no need to juggle a huge monitor.”

Best in Show: Savor
Created by two moms with a passion for design, Savor offers keepsake storage solutions that are practical, beautiful, and that have a “bespoke” quality to them. Savor’s goal is to help people celebrate and preserve every day family memories. Their keepsake organizational system, The Library, makes it easy to store and enjoy your most important mementos. “There are so many ways for parents to preserve their child’s memories, but I was impressed with how innovative these ‘books’ were,” one judge says. Savor’s labels, drawers, and files take the chore out of organizing these treasures by guiding parents in what to save and how to save it. The modern, stylish boxes resemble coffee table books, so you keep them accessible, for easy filing and engagement. Notes one judge: “They’re such a compact way to save all your mementos, plus they look stylish in your living room!”
