Check with Ellie provides a virtual breastfeeding assistant that helps moms with any issues they face while breastfeeding. The service is 24/7 through Facebook Messenger and provides moms with the ability to first identify the problem at hand, techniques approved by lactation experts on how to handle the issue, and then also connects mothers to lactation experts for help beyond that point.
And luckily, Check with Ellie will be at the 2018 New York Baby Show on May 19 and 20 at Pier 94.
Tickets to the New York Baby Show are $30 per family; $20 per individual. Children are free.
We spoke with a Check with Ellie team member about what to expect at this year’s Baby Show!
What should expectant and new parents know about your brand?
Check with Ellie is a virtual breastfeeding assistant that gives new moms access to immediate and credible information to help them overcome breastfeeding challenges. Ellie will identify which challenge a mom is having, provide a tip or technique to reduce pain, and can connect her to a lactation consultant for a video consultation.
What’s new (in the past year) with your brand?
We have been rapidly expanding our curriculum to cover the common challenges moms face in the first month after birth. We have also brought on very passionate and knowledgeable pediatricians, IBCLCs, and healthcare executives to join us on our mission to help moms breastfeed.
What is your most popular service right now?
Check with Ellie is available to moms 24/7 over Facebook Messenger. We’re seeing a growing number of moms using it and sharing it with their friends. The widespread usage of Facebook Messenger and access to an immediate and credible breastfeeding troubleshooting tool has made it very popular with mommy blogs and forums.
