Tell us about diapers.com’s background—how did it get started and how has it grown?
Our company was founded by two dads who wanted to make life easier for other parents. They understood that when you need something for your baby, you can’t get it fast enough. (In fact, you probably needed it yesterday). That’s why our “standard” shipping speed is crazy-fast—overnight to more than 75 percent of the country, and in two days to everyone else. Over the past decade, we’ve grown from a small operation to the country’s largest online store devoted exclusively to baby, but we’ve kept our spirit of ingenuity, scrappiness, and commitment to meeting the needs of parents like us.
What do consumers love about diapers.com and what should parents know about it?
We’re constantly hearing stories about moms and dads discovering they’re down to the last diaper, frantically placing an order with us, and getting their delivery before lunch the next day. Or about that time they were able to order diapers, sippy cups, a carrier, and baby food from their smartphone while feeding their baby.
