For someone unfamiliar with Fridababy, how would you describe the company’s mission and core offerings?
Fridababy products offer parents the unique solutions to tackle everything from baby’s delivery to boogers, butts and beyond, with unrivaled simplicity and efficiency. We put a millennial touch on some age-old practices (goodbye bulb syringe, hello SnotSucker!) and are committed to making parenthood easier, one gassy tummy or stuffy nose at a time.
What is the background of Fridababy? When was it started and how has it evolved since then?
Fridababy was founded by Kaisa Levine, who discovered NoseFrida in Sweden while shopping for a congestion reliever for her baby at a local pharmacy. Upon seeing that it worked better than any booger busting device in America, she brought it back to the USA and founded NoseFrida USA. NoseFrida quickly gained support amongst the pediatric medical community and became a household name. In 2012, the brand evolved its portfolio to include several new products that solve common baby, toddler and new mom problems in a not-so-common way and became Fridababy!
What are the most popular and/or newest products from Fridababy?
Our hero product, NoseFrida the original Swedish SnotSucker, continues to enjoy a cult-like following amongst parents and is our most popular product to date. However, our newer products especially as we expand into the wellness, grooming and gifting categories, are gaining also gaining widespread attention and support. This year, we’re excited to introduce two of our newest products– Big Bundle of Joy which just hit stores in April, and our first-ever toothbrush, SmileFrida the ToothHugger, which launches this July.
Big Bundle of Joy is Fridababy’s second newborn arrival gift kit to hit the baby gifting market (Bitty Bundle of Joy was the first) and is a must-have for expecting and new parents.
