Tickets to the New York Baby Show are $30 per family, and $20 per individual.


We caught up with the Kiddylicious team to learn more about what’s new with them and what parents can expect from them at the New York Baby Show!

For someone unfamiliar with Kiddylicioius, how would you describe the company’s mission and core offerings?

The Kids Food Company (Kiddylicious) is an innovative, privately-owned children’s food company that creates exciting products for children. Based in Buckinghamshire, England, they are a dynamic team of professional specialists, many of whom are parents, who understand that introducing healthy, tasty foods to babies and toddlers will establish a positive life-long relationship with food. Their driving mission is to take the finest ingredients and transform them into delicious snacks. All the recipes are scrutinized to make sure they are suitable and safe for young children. This passion underlines everything we do.

What is the background of the company?  When did it start? How has it evolved over time?

The story begins with Sally Preston, a food scientist who previously worked with Marks & Spencer and a busy mum of two. Sally founded Babylicious, the first commercial frozen baby food available in the United Kingdom, in 2002. Sally grew her company and its offerings to include complete frozen meals for toddlers. However, over time, Kiddylicious chose to move away from prepared children’s meals and really focus on healthy snacks. The first fruit snacks were introduced in British grocery stores in 2009, and the rest is history. Kiddylicious’ passion is finding and developing simply delicious food for young children, providing parents with great products that their children love to eat.

What are the most popular and newest products from Kiddylicious?

In 2015, Kiddylicious put the wonderful Fruit Crispies into the US market in small single-serve bags that appealed to the impulsive nature and convenience aspect that comes when looking after little ones. Now Kiddylicious is putting four bags into a box so Mom can plan her purchase in multiples and be ready with a bag or two on hand all the time. These will be on grocers’ shelves in time for Back-To-School.

What sets Kiddylicious apart from other children’s food companies?

All Kiddylicious products are made from REAL fruits and vegetables, with no added preservatives, flavors, colors or salt. They contain no GMO ingredients, are gluten free, nut & seed free, and vegan friendly. You are also going to notice vegetable oil in the ingredients list. A lot of parents panic when they see added oils, but in fact, toddlers have specific dietary needs which require a certain amount of fat to ensure proper growth and brain development.  As a food scientist, Sally understands these needs and ensures that all Kiddylicious products have just the right amount of dietary fat to make it suitable for children’s specific needs.

What can parents expect to see from Kiddylicous at the New York Baby Show?

At this year’s NY Baby show, Kiddylicious are excited to be offering samples of their classic fruit and veggie crisps, and fruit crispies (a natural and delicious alternative to the commercial fruit gummies you see in stores).  Additionally, we will be sampling some new products. Think of it as “market research.” We want to be sure that all products we introduce to our US customers are a big hit, especially with the ones that matter, the kids! The New York baby show is the perfect opportunity for parents and kids alike to tell us what they like and want to see.
