The Prenatal Yoga Center’s goal is to give women evidence-based information, guidance, and support to empower them to make decisions that are perfect for them in every stage of life. With their three-pronged approach to teaching, they aim to foster a community, address the aches and pains from pregnancy, and of course feel prepared and empowered for childbirth. And luckily, the Prenatal Yoga Center will be at the 2018 New York Baby Show on May 19 and 20 at Pier 94.
Tickets to the New York Baby Show are $30 per family; $20 per individual. Children are free.
We spoke with a Prenatal Yoga Center member about what to expect at this year’s Baby Show!
What should expectant and new parents know about your brand?
We help parents openly explore the mind, body, and spirit. Using a three-pronged approach to teaching, our classes address the aches and pains of pregnancy, so students feel better each day. We foster a supportive community of friendship and integrate childbirth education to help you feel prepared and empowered for labor, delivery, and motherhood.
What’s new (in the past year) with your brand?
The Prenatal Yoga Center is about to celebrate our 16th Birthday! We’ve expanded our training of new teachers to include a traveling program and a mentorship program. We have an exciting series of summer workshops coming up to further the knowledge yoga teachers and birth workers. My podcast “Yoga| Birth| Babies” is about to celebrate 100 episodes!
What is your most popular service right now?
As usual, our Prenatal Yoga classes are very popular. We’re also seeing a wonderful community developing in our postnatal classes right now, particularly Baby & Me.
Are you offering any special contests or discounts at the New York Baby Show in 2018?
