songs for seeds (brought to you by apple seeds): songs for seeds is a rockin’ program that is brought to you by apple seeds. This weekly, 45 minute, interactive class encourages children, newborn to age 6, to sing, dance and play along with a live, three-piece band. Kids rock out with children’s instruments, as well as real drums, guitars, keyboards and instruments from around the world. Teacher/musicians take students on a musical journey each week through a series of seven engaging activities. Dionne Kamara: Dionne Kamara is a New York City-based dance educator who teaches dance to people of all ages nationally and internationally. Her teaching practice and methodology builds on the work of Anne Green Gilbert and is grounded in Brain Compatible Dance Education and neurodevelopmental patterning for infants, children, and adults. In workshops and classes, Kamara facilitates and supports creative exploration and skill development in a holistic learning environment. She strives to provide each student with the tools they need to grow and develop to their highest potential through movement.

Tim Kubart & Tambourine Kids: Tambourine Kids is the children’s music collective created by the Grammy-Award-winning Tim Kubart of the “Sunny Side Up Show” on Sprout. Kubart has a decade of experience in the world of music-based playgroups, preschool classes, and birthday parties, and a prominent place in the “kindie rock” industry. Kubart heads parties and playgroups himself as his schedule allows, and handpicks and trains emerging NYC musicians to round out the team of teachers and entertainers. With a playlist of classic and modern pop songs, traditional kids’ music, and original pieces by Kubart, playgroups and parties are a bonding experience for caregivers and their kids, inspiring and nurturing love for live music and creative play.
